Jimmy Cannon

Performing internationally at concerts all over the world with his swing band ‘The Jazz Cannons’, as well as entertaining at exclusive London clubs like The Ritz Club, The Savoy, Ronnie Scott’s, The Dorchester, Claridges, Soho House and The Groucho Club, Jimmy is an experienced and passionate Soul and Gospel singer.

Jimmy has toured and recorded with Sir Tom Jones, The Commitments, Rodriguez, Maroon Town, Roger Taylor, Mbawula, and appeared exclusively on TV’s ‘The One Show’ and ‘This Morning’. He was described as a “stylistic vocalist with fantastic in-person delivery” by the Evening Standard.

A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), Jimmy is a strong advocate for music education and has worked as a Module Leader on the BMus degree course at London College of Creative Media (LCCM). He’s currently teaching vocal technique and sight-reading at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP), and working as a freelance singer and saxophonist.
