Niki Mackay

Niki Mackay studied Performing Arts at the BRIT School. She holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Drama, won a full scholarship for her MA in Journalism, and is currently writing a proposal for a PhD by prior publication at Kingston University.

Under Niki Mackay, she is the author of two books featuring Private Investigator Madison Attallee ‘I, Witness’ and ‘The Lies We Tell’, as well as the gangland thrillers ‘Loaded’ and ‘Taken’. Under NJ Mackay she has published two standalone psychological thrillers, ‘Found Her’ and ‘The Girls Inside’. Niki is currently working on a psychological thriller due to be published next year, she has just finished editing a book-club fiction novel.

She teaches creative writing workshops, mentors fledgling writers and reviews manuscripts. She is one third of the true-crime podcast ‘Crime Girl Gang’ and is represented by Hattie Grünewald at The Blair Partnership.
