Gabriel Akamo

Gabriel Akamo is a Nigerian-British actor, writer and educator, with a practice rooted in performance, storytelling and creative expression.As an actor, his theatre credits include the National Theatre, the Palace Theatre (West End) and Northern Stage. Alongside his acting work, Gabriel is an experienced writer and performer, with a particular focus on poetry, creative writing and text-based performance.

In the studio, Gabriel brings a thoughtful, supportive approach to teaching, helping students build confidence, deepen their connection to text, and develop a strong, authentic voice both on the page and on stage
