Shachar is a London based multidisciplinary artist who has been exploring artistic ways to communicate stories his whole life. After graduating with an MA in Classical Singing at the Jerusalem Academy of Music & Dance, he went on to study for his MA in Musical Theatre at Guildford School of Acting (GSA).
After graduating from GSA, Shar moved to London and has been teaching singing and vocal technique at various musical theatre academies. Since then, he has worked internationally as a director as well as a vocal coach. Shar is currently collaborating as a lyricist on a new musical theatre piece called “Sonia”, due to be produced in the 2023-24 season of one of Israel’s biggest theatres. In addition to that Shar writes and composes in various styles and genres, in Hebrew.
“I enjoy helping my students to develop independence in singing by encouraging them to explore their voices with playful curiosity and by developing a good understanding of the vocal mechanism.”
