Opera Singing

Eleanor studied Classical Voice and Musicology at Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where she completed a postgraduate Diploma in Voice (Pedagogy) before going on to perform in Manhattan School of Music’s Summer Voice Festival in New York.

Since then, Eleanor has worked with many distinguished voice teachers, including Australian soprano Emma Matthews.

Eleanor is currently performing the role of Musetta in La bohème with Opera Integra. Other performance credits include the roles of Pepik (The Cunning Little Vixen), Chorus (Orfeo and Eurydice), and Belinda (Dido and Aeneas).

"I love helping people find their voice and connect with music they love. Learning to sing can be really empowering and it’s amazing to be there when people discover these powers they never knew they had.

My classes are fun, informal and really supportive. By starting with strong technical foundations, students have a great basis for developing their confidence, and for learning how to use their voice effectively."
