Eleanor Wood


Eleanor Wood

Australian soprano Eleanor Wood is a graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where she completed a Bachelor of Music Studies (Hons) and Postgraduate Diploma in Voice. Now based in London she works as a freelance singer, voice teacher, and choral director.

In the UK, Eleanor has performed with Barefoot Opera, Opera Integra, Chelsea Opera Group, Londinium Chamber Choir, and is a member of the chamber choir at St Gabriel’s Church, Pimlico. Passionate about outreach and community work, Eleanor previously ran the Sing for Freedom choir (made up of refugees and survivors of torture). She currently works for English National Opera as part of ENO Breathe, a landmark programme helping long Covid patients retrain their breathing through singing.
