Liam Connery

Liam Connery has been Musical Director of City Academy’s Amplified Choir since 2023 working with this talented group of singers each week, bringing in his skills from working in the professional choral and musical theatre scenes. Liam’s work as a sound engineer and later songwriter/session musician in recording studios working for the likes of Boy George and FKA Twigs also helps add some authenticity to the choir’s delivery of rock and pop vocals. He is also Assistant Musical Director of internationally renowned boys’ choir Libera, conducting the choir on international tours. 

Liam also releases music under his own name on all streaming platforms and he launched his debut album in September 2025.
