Subjects taught by Richard Hartley Wilson:
Beginners Singing

Richard gained a First Class BA (hons) in Performing Arts before training at the Royal Academy of Music on the Post Graduate Musical Theatre course.

Richard has a background in Musical Theatre, where past credits include playing Nicely Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls (Gaiety Theatre). Richard has also sung with pop orchestra Tonic Fold, and he released his debut EP ‘Judy’s Boy’ in 2013. He now works primarily as a singer and vocal coach.

As an experienced singing tutor, Richard's singing lessons are a mixture of technique and performance. He uses the Estill method for explaining how the voice works and focuses on making sure each singer develops a voice that they are comfortable and confident with, as well as knowing how to use it safely and effectively. In class he focuses mainly on pop, rock and soul as well as musical theatre and jazz styles.

"Richard was excellent. Upbeat, motivating, fun and very professional"
