Shakti Puri

Shakti Puri is a professional dancer who began her training in the USA. Since moving to the UK, she has trained with professional dance groups such as Epika Dance under Emiko Ishii.

Having performed in a variety of awards shows, public events and venues such as Hammersmith Apollo, she brings energy and creativity to her bollywood dance classes to help students improve technique and gain confidence to perform themselves.

Shakti has worked with artists, performing in music videos, Bollywood films and translates her experience to helping her students achieve their short and long term dance goals. As a Bollywood Dance Instructor, Shakti has foundations in a range of styles including Ballet, Bollywood, Bhangra, Kathak and Hip Hop and incorporates these styles in her routines.
