In a film audition, you only have a small window to showcase your abilites.
In this casting workshop, you will work with an experienced professional casting director, Kristina Erdely, to sharpen your audition technique and presentation skills and focus on preparing for the casting process for television and commercials. You will experience a typical audition faced by actors in the industry.
You will have the opportunity to perform from a selection of scenes and scenarios, before receiving practical feedback and notes on how to improve your performance in a supportive and friendly manner. You will learn tips and tricks on how to offer a stronger screen presence and what creative decisions to make to help you stand out and be noticed in the audition process.
The workshop will build your skills and confidence, whilst giving you a realistic idea of the process and industry expectations for actors.

ABOUT KRISTINA EDERLY
Kristina Erdely is a London-based television and film producer and casting director. Kristina spent many years as a theatre producer prior to becoming a casting director.
In the past 12 years she has assisted in the success of many productions, often reaching beyond the responsibilities of a casting director and helping connect writers with relevant directors, producers as well as matching them with production companies and broadcasters. She has worked with everyone in the undstry from writers to TV producers, advising on script, post, and building relationships.
Her work across the industry led Kristina to create her own production company, Marilla Pictures Limited, which has a varied slate of television and film projects in various stages of development.
Kristina is a full voting member of BAFTA and is on the voting committee of BIFA. As an active board member of the European Chapter of the Casting Society of America she is chair/member of several committees (Inclusion and Diversity, Festivals and Panels, Training and Education, Affiliates and Liaisons.)
Kristina believes in equal opportunities, and is an advocate of inclusion and diversity. Her voluntary work allows her to see and meet all the wonderful emerging talent the UK has to offer on both sides of the camera.
Recent Television credits include the David Fincher/Tim Miller series Love, Death & Robots for Netflix, The Royals for Lionsgate and NBC, Blood Drive for USA/SyFy. Recent film work includes In Another Life directed by Jason Wingard, which won best Feature at Raindance Film Festival 2017 and the discovery award at the British Independent Film Awards 2017 and Oh Ramona! a Netflix original directed by Cristina Jacob.
