Whether you're drawn by the fast footwork, rich cultural roots or simply want a fun and sociable way to keep fit, our classes are designed to bring out your confidence and musicality—on and off the dance floor.
What you will learn
Each session is designed to develop your technique, confidence, and expressive ability across the five core Latin American styles. You'll move beyond the basics into more refined, performance-ready movement through:
- Technique Drills and Styling - Hone the precision of your footwork, posture and body alignment. Learn how to add personal flair through arm lines, hip action, and controlled transitions that enhance your style and stage presence.
- Choreography Combinations with a Performance Focus - Learn dynamic routines that challenge coordination and timing while building your memory and musical awareness. Emphasis is placed on expression, rhythm and storytelling to bring the choreography to life.
- Partnering Dynamics (Where Applicable) - Improve your ability to lead or follow, refine your connection skills, and respond fluidly to a partner’s movements—whether in set choreography or social dance scenarios.
- Deeper Musicality and Rhythmic Understanding - Develop your ear for Latin rhythms and phrasing. You'll learn how to interpret music with greater sensitivity, using accents, syncopation, and pauses to dance with the music—not just keep time.
How will I learn?
Each class is progressive, allowing you to revisit and reinforce core techniques while layering in new challenges that push your dancing further. By the end of the course, you'll be dancing with more clarity, confidence, and character.
This course is best suited to adults who’ve completed a beginner Latin course or have basic experience with partner dances. You should be familiar with foundational steps and ready to develop greater precision, expression and flair.

Useful information
This is an intermediate course. You’ll need a basic foundation in Latin or ballroom dancing—ideally you’ve taken a beginner course or have equivalent experience.
You’ll cover Cha-Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive—with a focus on technical development and choreography.
Yes, the movements are accessible and adaptable. You’ll get a good workout, but you don’t need to be an athlete to enjoy the class.
Courses run in accessible, central London venues with studio-quality dance spaces. Specific locations are listed at the time of booking.
Comfortable clothes and dance-appropriate shoes. Latin or ballroom shoes are recommended if you have them.
