AJ Stubberfield

AJ is a queer, trans (he/they) stand-up comic, writer and actor. Comedy credits include a sold-out solo show at Soho Theatre, regularly gigging on the comedy circuit and podcast appearances – most recently Drunk Women Solving Crime. 

Writing credits include their short play Flux, premiering at The Royal Court, audio drama Beneath Our Feet, new original queer musical Fandom and a radio comedy/drama play in development with a production company. 

As an actor, they have credits spanning TV, film, audiobook narration and stage. They are a Royal Court writers group, Soho Writers’ Lab and Soho Comedy Lab Plus Alumni.
