Alex Rasero

Alex Rasero is a professional Latin dancer, choreographer, and teacher whose career began in the early 2000s. He first discovered Latin rhythms at his hometown dance academy and, within just a few months, was entrusted to lead classes – marking the start of his teaching journey. Over the next two years, Alex trained extensively in Latin rhythms, contemporary, ballet, jazz, and ballroom under renowned international dance artists. His innovative bachata style quickly gained recognition, making him a sought-after teacher and choreographer.

After a brief break from dance, Alex turned his focus to the competitive bachata scene. He won his first bachata competition in Spain and went on to place consistently in the top ten at national competitions. Following his relocation to the UK, Alex’s competitive success continued as he regularly secured top placements, further establishing his reputation in the dance community.

With a career spanning over 20 years, Alex has performed and taught internationally, sharing his artistry on stages around the world. His choreographies and teaching have had a lasting impact: many of his students have gone on to win national competitions, perform internationally, and even establish themselves as dance teachers in their own right.
