Andrea Janosova

Andrea took progressive courses in Cuban Salsa and attended festivals in different countries for 8 years before she started her teacher training in 2014. She also performed in a Salsa dance group, taking her passion for performing to national and international festivals. Andrea learnt Kizomba to enrich her music interpretation and connection with a partner. In 2015, she regularly travelled to Europe to study Bachata from the top instructors of the dance scene.

Andrea also teaches LA style salsa as well as regular Salsa and Bachata.

Malik Rubio

Malik started dancing right here at City Academy as a student. He then began travelling around Europe learning from many different artists, concentrating on social dance across both Salsa and Bachata, with a particular focus on Bachata Sensual.

Malik focuses on the principles of lead and follow and technique in social dance as a passion point whilst adding individual style to either dance discipline.
