Annette Flynn

Annette is a professional actor and tutor with a rich background in stage and screen. After earning a BA (Hons) in Communications from Dublin City University, she trained in Performing Arts with the Liberties College Bull Alley Theatre Company. Her professional journey has taken her from Dublin to London, where she worked with acclaimed mentors including Mike Alfreds, Donnacadh O’Briain, and Annie Ryan. She continues to refine her craft with world-renowned acting coaches Helena Walsh and Benjamin Mathes.

Her screen credits include roles in The Crown (Netflix), EastEnders, Hollyoaks, Emmerdale, and My Sailor, My Love (Netflix). She is best known for her three-year role as Maeve McIlhinney, a series regular in Fair City, Ireland’s most popular television drama.

On stage, Annette has performed throughout Ireland, the UK, and Europe, with appearances at the Dublin and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals. Her portrayal of Eva Gore-Booth in I Run, I Sing, I Swim, I Dive earned her the Best Actress award at the IDGT Festival.

As an acting tutor, Annette has taught at stage schools across Ireland and now specialises in one-to-one coaching and workshops for third-level performing arts students. She also delivers corporate training, with clients including Deloitte University EMEA and the Irish Management Institute. Dedicated to nurturing talent, she shares her professional expertise with students of all ages while continuing to work actively in the industry.
