
Clover Kayne is a London-born mezzo-soprano and passionate vocal teacher specialising in opera, classical, and musical theatre singing. Whether you’re new to singing or aiming to refine your technique for auditions, recitals, or personal development, Clover offers patient, expert guidance rooted in years of professional performance experience.
She holds a First Class Honours degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, a Master’s with Distinction, and an Advanced Diploma in Opera from the Royal Academy of Music Opera Studio, where she received the prestigious Regency Award upon graduation. Supported by Opera Awards Foundation and the Josephine Baker Trust, Clover brings deep insight into vocal technique, style, and performance practice.
Her stage credits include principal roles such as Hänsel (Hänsel und Gretel), Ariodante (Ariodante), and Florence Pike (Albert Herring), and she has performed with companies including If Opera, Grimeborn Festival, and Nevill Holt Opera. Her singing has been broadcast on BBC Radio 4, and she was a finalist in the 2025 ROSL Annual Music Competition. Teaching from her South West London studio and online, Clover creates a supportive environment where adult singers can build healthy technique, develop expressiveness, and explore the rich worlds of opera, classical, and musical theatre.
