Dani K

Dani is originally from the French Indian Ocean island Mayotte & the Comoros Islands, Dani grew to be one of the main popular London salsa instructors as well as a respected choreographer, performer and DJ, nationally and internationally. His most recent Choreography with his dance partner Sarah Rowe has been recognised by Britain Got Talent and likes and shared by thousands all over the world on social media. Dani K has contributed to City Academy’s Salsa syllabus, training teachers to make sure all our students get the best experience from their learning journeys.

Christina Nastou
Christina was introduced to salsa in 2010, in Greece, as a university student. She initially explored the Cuban style and then expanded to the crossbody / on 1 style.

In 2017, she moved to England (Leeds), where she met and started training on the on 2 style with a well-known Italian dancer, Emanuela Iafrate, whose ladies’ performance team she joined soon after. Since then, Christina has been training intensely with prestigious teachers in England and Italy, for example, Marco Ferrigno, Maykel Fonts, and Linda Aramendiz.

In 2019, Christina joined the Sabroso dance company, based in Leeds, and together they have performed at several Congresses in England and Europe. One of the greatest achievements was the Stargate competition at the El Sol Congress in Poland. Other congresses that they have successfully participated in are the Berlin Salsa Congress, Mambo City 5 Star in London, ABCD in London and more.

Christina started her teaching career officially in 2024 when she started teaching in Leeds, offering ladies style salsa classes. Before that, she assisted several classes and workshops but in November 2024, she moved to London to expand her salsa training and career.
