David trained as an actor at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and subsequently with John Wright and Philippe Gaulier. He has written and directed short films and is a multi award nominated voice actor, specialising in audiobook narration.
David’s experience as an actor is many & varied, performing in Theatre, Film and TV. He has taken shows to the Edinburgh Fringe festival and created comic characters which he has performed on the London comedy circuit. He also acted with the RSC and the West Yorkshire Playhouse and alongside the likes of Sir Kenneth Branagh and Sir David Jason. His many TV credits include Band of Brothers, Hamlet, Casualty, Silent Witness, Heartbeat and A Touch of Frost.
As a passionate teacher and coach David has taught extensively in both group and individual settings in acting, screen acting, and VoiceOver. As well as being a qualified counsellor, David’s experience in coaching adults with confidence issues and presentation skills has allowed him to develop a strong foundation in active listening, providing constructive feedback, and designing personalised training plans.
