Dominic Kennedy is a London-based artist and experienced art educator with over 20 years of teaching expertise. He holds an M.A. in Painting from the Royal College of Art and a B.A. in Fine Art from Winchester School of Art. His richly layered practice has led to exhibitions at esteemed venues including the Whitechapel Gallery (The London Open), Hastings Contemporary, Karst Gallery, and Fold Gallery (solo), as well as group shows in France, Denmark, Germany, and Sweden.
Dominic has worked across diverse educational settings, including roles as Associate Lecturer in Fine Art at UCA Farnham and Visiting Lecturer in Painting at the University of Brighton. He has also tutored numerous private art groups across London and the Southeast.
Known for creating engaging and inclusive studio environments, Dominic’s classes explore a wide range of techniques and materials, blending hands-on demonstrations with inspiration from art history. His teaching nurtures individual growth, often helping students build confidence and pursue further artistic study.
