Julia Ruiz Fernandez

Julia Ruiz Fernández is a highly skilled, versatile Spanish Professional Dancer and Choreographer with over a decade of international experience. 

Throughout her career, Julia has toured extensively across the UK, performing in various West End Musicals, Strictly Come Dancing tours and opera productions.

She has been performing at the Royal Opera House for 9 years, and in 2019-2020 she was part of the original cast of Gloria Estefan’s West End Musical On Your Feet.

In 2023, Julia worked in the United States as an Assistant Choreographer and main dancer at the Detroit Opera in Michigan. She later returned to the UK to perform and tour in the new West End musical La Bamba. Julia also had the honour of performing at the Latin Grammy Awards. 

In 2024, she toured the UK with two different Strictly Come Dancing shows, Believe and Legends of the Dance Floor, and she performed over the summer in the Copacabana Show at the London Cabaret Club. 

She choreographed a new Musical in London called Toys, a new Latin Dance Show called Havana Heat and was also the Assistant/ Associate Choreographer of Barista The Musical.

This year she is being back performing at the Royal Opera house, Choreographing an international project in Montecarlo-Monaco, and she will be performing at The London Cabaret club with Copabana and touring with the Strictly Tour Legends of the Dance Floor again.
