Mariia Litvin began her dance journey at a young age at a ballet school. She graduated in 2016 from the School-Studio affiliated with the Igor Moiseyev State Academic Ensemble of Folk Dance as a professional dancer and teacher.
She began her professional career with the “GZHEL” Dance Theatre, performing locally and internationally. Later, Mariia joined the “Russian Seasons” dance collective, taking part in theatrical and dance performances, with one of the highlights – festivals in London.
Mariia then became a professional dancer with the Igor Moiseyev State Academic Ensemble of Folk Dance, performing on prestigious stages such as the Bolshoi and Stanislavsky Theatres, Nervi Music Ballet Festival (Italy) and International Festivals of Arts in Portugal, Spain, and Egypt.
In 2021, Mariia graduated with honours from the Bolshoi Academy of Choreography, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Visual and Performing Arts (Teaching).
Since relocating to London in 2022, Mariia has been actively involved in the local dance scene as a freelance performer and dedicated teacher. She has extensive experience in both classical and character dance, bringing together her stage background and passion for connecting cultural traditions with contemporary expression.
“In my classes, I focus on connection and emotion because dance begins where feeling starts. I create a warm and professional space where students can explore their individuality. With care and curiosity, I guide each student, building an atmosphere of trust where creativity and self-expression can flourish.”
