Olivia Devine

Olivia is a professional dancer and teacher of ballet and contemporary dance, based in London. She trained at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, graduating with a BA (Hons), and has since performed with the Royal Opera in productions including Le Vêpres Siciliennes and Faust. Alongside her performance work, she has developed a strong teaching practice across professional, adult, and pre-vocational settings.

Olivia teaches ballet technique with a focus on musicality, clear classical foundations, and the expressive potential of the moving body. She is especially passionate about working with mature and adult students, encouraging individuality within the classical form and supporting each dancer in building strength, coordination and artistic confidence. Her contemporary classes draw from modern and post-modern dance philosophies, integrating functional pathways, balance and counterbalance, abstract gesture, floor-work, and travelling sequences that move dynamically through space.

A certified teacher of the Rambert Grades Contemporary Dance syllabus, Olivia is also the co-founder, teacher, and director of LEGEM Dance Cooperative—an organisation offering free weekly classes for freelance professionals. Through a cooperative leadership model, Legem focuses on redistributing power, fostering mutual support, and championing sustainable artistic practice.

“In my classes, we will train technique as a foundation for expressive movement. Playful and passionate, I hope to ignite a passion for music and dance in my class, listening to our bodies and stretching our expectations of what we can achieve.”
