Philippa Hogg

Philippa is a multi-disciplinary performer and creative whose musical work includes extensive experience as an actor, singer, instrumentalist and Musical Director. With a passion for new writing, Philippa specialises in the development of new musicals and productions from early stages to full-scale.

As a performer, recent work includes: Mary Button in the multi Olivier Award Winning 2025’s Best New Musical ‘The Curious case of Benjamin Button’, where she was also the onstage Resident Director; originating the role of the Roly Poly Bird in The Enormous Crocodile at Leeds Playhouse for Roald Dahl Story Company and Regents Park Open Air; Bagheera and Musical Director in ‘The Jungle Book’ at The Watermill and Anna in co-pro with folk rock band The Staves and physical Theatre company ThickSkin’s production ‘Blood Harmony’.

As a Musical Director, recent work includes Sky Arts Award Winning ‘The Children’s Enquiry’ for Lung Theatre/Southwark Playhouse; ‘A Gig for Ghosts’ for Soho Theatre and ‘Rosie and Hugh’s Great Big Adventure’ for Soho Theatre and The Pleasance.
