Rosie Akerman

Rosie is an actor and voiceover artist from London. Since graduating from ALRA in 2014, she has appeared in numerous television, film, and theatre productions.

Career highlights include the award-winning BBC series ‘This Is Going to Hurt’, the feature film ‘The More You Ignore Me’ written by Jo Brand, and ‘Lotty’s War’, directed by Bruce Guthrie, which toured as the UK’s number one play.

In addition to her screen and stage work, Rosie is an accomplished voiceover artist. Her portfolio spans commercials, corporate projects, IVR systems and video games. Her main speciality is audiobook narration. To date, she has recorded over 200 audiobooks, most of them from her professional home studio!

She’s passionate about sharing her experience with aspiring actors and voiceover artists, and is dedicated to helping them grow in confidence – both in finding their own unique voice and developing their craft.
