Rowan began dancing at the age of fourteen, which we was told time again would be far too late to ever pursue it professionally. However, after working consistently for four years every day, he moved on to train at his dream college in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre.
Upon graduating Rowan worked consistently in the industry nationally and internationally for companies such as Cirque at Sea, Warner Brother’s, Jordan Productions, TED group, RWS Entertainment, Creative Engagement and more. Rowan has also worked for many freelance events and performances in the city including music videos, promotional shoots and cabaret nights.
Alongside performing Rowan has been teaching for over five years to a wide range of ages and abilities from absolute beginner to professional. As well as working as a choreographer for in-house theatrical projects and on-screen productions/shoots.
Rowan adores starting or rekinding a student’s passion for dance, he cares deeply for all of those that take his class and utilises his classical and technical training in order to create pieces that allows the student to express themselves however they need to through the movement. All the while keeping a fun, professional and energetic class environment.
“I am extremely passionate that whilst working to your best ability Dance should be enjoyable at its forefront. There is nothing else on earth where you can exercise your mind, body and soul simultaneously. And why shouldn’t you have the best time while doing it?!”
