Susan is an award winning actor, comedian, improviser and writer. After training as an actor at RCS she performed extensively in theatre with notable credits including Elephantom (The National Theatre), Peter Pan Goes Wrong (Mischief West End) and more recently Pinocchio (The Unicorn).
As time went on she started making her own work (taking 5 critically acclaimed shows to the Edinburgh fringe) and performing character comedy on the circuit. This led to her creating and performing her own characters on CBBC show DNN. Other TV credits include Class Dismissed (CBBC), Rip The Script (pilot) and Urban Gothic (Channel 5), Radio credits include The Simon Day Show and Gemma Arrowsmith’s Emergency Broadcast (both for BBC Radio 4). Her sitcom pilot (written with Lucy Trodd) will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in Autumn of this year. Other audio credits include appearances on Victoriocity and The Beef and Dairy Network.
Susan is also an online comedian. She makes videos of all kinds of people, from Liz Truss to Mary Wollstonecraft and has gone viral multiple times. Her sketches have been featured in/on The Poke, Buzzfeed, Front Row, Times Radio, Morning Star. As an improviser she is part of Olivier Award winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical, has performed in Mischief Movie Night (Riverside Studios and on tour) and on occasion with Austentatious. She also has her own improvised folk duo These Folk.
