Improvisation is a great way to get the mind moving, reconnect with your love of play and get creative on your feet. Become a great storyteller, listener and team player as you work together to create improvised scenes. You’ll be encouraged to take creative risks, stretch your imagination and laugh - a lot. You’ll learn to listen and respond impulsively, giving others the prompts they need to keep the scene moving.
Explore the core principles of improvisation while building confidence in your physical and vocal expression. This course encourages you to respond instinctively, use your imagination freely, and work collaboratively with others in a relaxed, playful environment.
Improvisation - Level 1
Designed for graduates of Level 1 or those with equivalent experience, this course strengthens your skills with a clear focus on performance. You’ll refine your stage presence, explore more complex scenes, and work towards a showcase for invited guests.
Level 2 – Improvisation Level 2 with Showcase
For experienced improvisers and Level 2 graduates, this course hones performance techniques with advanced games, both short and long-form improv, and more complex scene ideas. The training culminates in a public, ticketed showcase, giving you the opportunity to perform for a live audience.
Level 3 – Advanced Improvisation and Showcase
You can also join our Improvisation Drop-in sessions for flexible, ongoing practice, or audition for our Improvisation Performance Company to perform regularly with a committed group of improvisers.
