Gordon Warnecke


Gordon Warnecke

Gordon is an actor from London who studied at De Leon Drama School in Richmond, Surrey. After leaving drama school he worked for M6 Theatre Company and Watford Palace Theatre Company, both theatre-in-education companies touring to schools. Gordon also writes and directs his own short films.

His first film role was in the award winning film, My Beautiful Laundrette playing opposite Daniel Day-Lewis. Other film work includes, Franco Zeffirelli’s, Young Toscanini. London Kills Me, The Pleasure Principal, Venus and recently Goldfish. He has worked extensively in television and theatre. His television credits include, Doctor Who, A Fatal Inversion, EastEnders, Only Fools And Horses, Holby City and Top Boy. In theatre, Gordon completed a season with the Royal Shakespeare Company in London, Blood at The Royal Court Theatre, a national tour of Ibsen’s An Enemy Of The People, Monkey Bars which won an Edinburgh First Award and a stage adaptation of My Beautiful Laundrette at the Curve Theatre, Leicester.
