Jonathan Mulquin trained as an actor at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and is currently studying for his Masters, writing his dissertation on Shakespeare texts.
As a drama teacher, Jonathan has lots of experience teaching, having taught for top universities such as St Mary’s University, and London College of Music.
Within classes he specialises on the use of voice. His teaching style is based on the yoga voice work of Lynette Erving; bringing a strong connection between the body, the breath and the voice. He is passionate about the stagecraft of the voice, and likes to give technical tips and approaches to ensure the voice can be heard in any space.
“I really enjoy discovering new approaches to support my student’s learning, and seeing my students develop their skills.”
