Nadège Adlam is an award-winning actor. Alongside her acting, she is an experienced tutor and workshop leader. Nadège trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama specialising in Classical Acting. Prior to this, she trained in the American Method at The Method Studio. She has appeared extensively in theatre and film, and recently in the Bafta Award Nominated film ‘Hold on Me.’
Nadège has also studied at the Manor House Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling, gaining a certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling Skills. This background gives her a deeper understanding of human behaviour and has developed her ability to build characters.
As a method acting coach, Nadège uses the Stanislavski system of acting as a basis to explore emotional truth and psychoanalytic interpretations of character. She places a lot of focus on Uta Hagen’s Object exercises.
“I encourage actors to find playfulness throughout each stage of the training, creating a healthy, safe environment within which actors can explore complex emotional and psychological work for their character.”
