Tania Fairbairn

After a long career teaching for the Royal Ballet School, Tania is now a successful international ballet mistress teaching both classical ballet and character dance at professional and vocational level.

Her choreography has included the character dances for Northern Ballet’s Swan Lake with Christopher Gable and her works for schools have been been performed at the Royal Opera House covent garden, Bucharest Opera House, Opera Holland Park, London.

She danced with Scottish Ballet and Northern Ballet and the Royal Opera before moving to dance in the musicals ‘On Your Toes’, 42nd Street and Phantom of the Opera. She trained at the Arts Educational School, Tring and then the Royal Ballet School’ Teachers Training Course with Valerie Adams FRAD.

Tania received her B Phil Hons in Dance and Contextual Studies in 2002.
