Magdalena Yordanova Barbazova

Magdalena is originally from Bulgaria, where she started rhythmic gymnastics and Bulgarian Folklore Dances aged 6. She competed and won national championships and toured internationally with her folklore ensmble. 

After stumbling upon a street dance school, she then went on to train in street and hip-hop, appearing in music videos, stage and TV. She moved to London to study BA(Hons) Dance: Urban Practice at University of East London training in various contemporary techniques, bharatanatyam, kalaripayattu, locking, popping, capoeira, dancehall, house, breaking, hip hop. While in London she discovered Bollywood dance and instantly fell in love with it. It has been her passion ever since and has led to opportunities with Samsung Mobile, BBC The Greatest Dancer, Bulgarias Got Talent and others.
