Sarah Rowe has been a keen dancer since the age of 8, training in tap, jazz, contemporary and ballet. Sarah completed her ballet training at the Royal Academy of Dance and experienced success in many solo competitions as well as having featured in many shows.
Whilst ballet still holds a firm place in her heart Sarah is equally as passionate about salsa.
Sarah discovered Salsa as an adult and is a member of the dance company Otradanz and was a member of the former ladies group Dulce Fuego. She currently represents Otradanz at a national and international level and has taught and performed at the One Dance Latin festival, Marrakech Salsa congress and the Berlin Salsa Congress to name a few.
As a salsa teacher, her classes are technically thorough yet fun with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. As a teacher she is approachable and encouraging and delights in sharing her love of dance with her students.
“It’s such a pleasure to observe all the different components come together for a student over a course, seeing their movements become more fluid as an understanding of the discipline is formed. This in turn instils confidence and happiness within them as they are mastering a new skill which is just beautiful to watch!”
