Carlos Otero

Carlos Otero has been a Flamenco teacher and dancer for over 15 years. Carlos is experienced in many forms of Flamenco but specialises in Tablao, an improvised style of Flamenco.

His training and style are very traditional, which when contrasted with his urban and modern background create an exciting Flamenco fusion.

This contrast is an important aspect of his personality as a performer and tutor, and it facilitates the translating of Flamenco codes and cultural references to an international audience.

Over the past 15 years he has been involved in researching and developing new cultural fusions, promoting a contemporary London based Flamenco scene, toured the UK, Europe and the world, and continued to develop skills in musical composition, choreography and production.
