This course is designed for adults with little or no dance experience.
In a friendly and supportive environment, you'll learn the foundations of dance, improve your coordination and rhythm, and build confidence moving to music. Whether you're looking for a new hobby, preparing for an event, or simply want to feel more comfortable on the dance floor, this course is the perfect place to start.
What you will learn
- The basic principles of dance and movement
- Travelling steps and transitions
- Core beginner steps including the box step, chasse and ball change
- How to move in time with music and rhythm
- Coordination, balance and body awareness
- Dance terminology and simple movement sequences
By the end of the course, you'll feel more confident dancing and ready to continue your dance journey.
