Jamie completed a Dance BA at the University of Wolverhampton in 2019, focused on Contemporary Dance and Ballet, and began coaching children’s gymnastics in London shortly after.
Performance opportunities being limited during the pandemic, Jamie used the time to study as a Barre teacher while also developing his yoga practice and working at London’s elite gyms, Third Space and David Lloyd’s, Harbour Clubs. He dances with the City Academy Contemporary Dance Company, HuMo, and is passionate about combining dance and fitness.
He loves to explore creative synergies between training and expressive performance, blending together different techniques and disciplines. He is a frequent collaborator with photographers and artists to explore the visual language of his own dance practice. He remembers the joy of discovering dance as a teenager and wants to pass on that same feeling to students of all levels in his teaching.
