Right in the heart of Angel, LIFT is a centre which does excellent work for the promotion of wellbeing in the community.

The studios are beautiful, bright and airy spaces perfect for City Academy's Contemporary dance classes among others. However, the venue has even more to offer, with a secret garden, free wi-fi, café and roof-top terrace with panoramic views over the London skyline.

Just across the road from Angel tube station, and with Kings Cross just a few minutes walk away, LIFT is ideally located in a great part of Islington; the excellent theatres, bars and cafes of Upper Street are all within a short walk.

Finsbury Town Hall

The Old Finsbury Town Hall is a stunning example of late nineteenth-century architecture and is listed as a Grade II* building of great historical significance.

The recently renovated studios are home to a number of City Academy courses across our Singing, Acting and Dance departments. The building is filled with character, with ornate art nouveau interiors making for an inspiring setting for the performing arts.

Located in London’s artistic Clerkenwell district, Finsbury Town Hall is just a short walk from Angel and Farringdon stations. The bustling bars, cafes and restaurants of The Angel are also nearby, offering students plenty of options after class.
