Home›Cameron Tweed Cameron Tweed Cam started his dance training at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and later continued to train professionally at Sylvia Young Theatre School. Cam started to train professionally in Tap Dance when he joined Tap Attack’s world renowned youth company. Bio Cam successfully made it onto Team GB for tap and won five World Tap titles, both as a soloist and as part of a group. Alongside this, he was mentored by Douglas Mills and Jack Evans. He made his professional debut in Big: The Musical. Other credits include West End Live, Sunday Night at the Palladium, and the ENB’s The Nutcracker. Cam has taught around the world, including BASE Studios (London), Sylvia Young Theatre School (London), the University of Oxford, and Luthier (Barcelona). His choreography credits include; An American in Paris (Oxford Playhouse), Out of the Blue (54 Below (NYC), Interfolk (Lyon), Girona A Cappella (Spain), and Edinburgh Fringe (Scotland)). Cam is so excited to be leading the City Academy Tap Company and bring his passion and enthusiasm for teaching to every class.
