Home›Iris Allain Iris Allain Iris Allain is a movement educator, dancer and STOTT Pilates instructor, whose work explores movement as a form of personal truth, connection, and expression. Bio She graduated from the Institut del Teatre with a BA in Choreography and Dance Performance, and further developed her practice through an internship with ACME Dance Company and an exchange in Dance Performance at the University of Stavanger in Norway. Her artistic journey has taken her to festivals and platforms including Sismògraf, IF Barcelona, OXO Tower, and the Choreographic Contest of Madrid. Across her work, she is interested in how movement can communicate what words cannot. Her approach brings together technique, awareness, improvisation, and musicality, creating space for each person to develop a more confident and deeper relationship with their body. “I believe every person has a unique way of moving, a personal rhythm that tells their story. In my classes, I invite students to discover confidence through their own movement, listen deeply to their bodies, and find precision without losing authenticity. I blend improvisation and choreography to explore how we can be fully ourselves within a given frame, always in dialogue with the music.” Experience highlights: Experienced professional dance teacher and dancer Specialises in contemporary and modern dance Experienced in creative dance and improvisation Plans and develops classes around the needs of each group Focuses on creativity, movement exploration and technical development Passionate about creating an engaging and collaborative learning environment Subjects taught Dance Contemporary Dance Stretch and Flexibility Learn with Iris Allain Upcoming classes taught by Iris Allain are listed below.
