Kate Smurthwaite has been a professional comedian for over ten years. She performs around the UK and overseas both on the club circuit and touring her one-woman shows. She is a writer for BBC Three's BAFTA-winning comedy series The Revolution Will Be Televised and has appeared on more than 500 TV and radio shows. She has written for The Guardian, The Independent and Cosmopolitan. At the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe she won a Three Weeks Editor's Choice award, naming her one of the ten best things about the festival!
