A one-off, beginner-friendly art session designed to introduce you to drawing techniques and creative approaches, giving you a sense of what it’s like to learn art at City Academy. Why try a taster? Try out a taster to experience a short sample of a class, giving you the confidence to take your next step in art while offering a fun and inspiring creative experience. You’ll work in a safe and supportive environment, enjoy a taste of our professional teaching approach, receive personal guidance from an experienced tutor, connect with others who share your interest in art, and build skills you can apply in future creative projects. Do I need any art experience? No, the class is perfect for complete beginners, as well as those who want to refresh their skills after time away from art. Do I need to bring any materials? No, all materials will be provided for you during the session. What are the next steps after the Taster? If you enjoy the class, you can join our How to Draw or How to Paint Beginners Courses, where you’ll explore techniques in more depth and work on more ambitious creative projects.
