Unlock your acting potential for stage and screen

Acting Foundation 4 Weeks

Four Weeks of Intensive Actor Training

Develop Your Craft Across Stage and Screen

Immerse yourself in four weeks of full-time actor training designed to challenge, stretch and deepen your performance skills.

Working with professional actors, directors and specialist tutors, you will train across acting technique, voice, movement, text, screen performance and audition skills while exploring approaches influenced by practitioners including Stanislavski, Meisner, Hagen, Adler and Lecoq.

The course culminates in a live stage showcase of contemporary scenes and monologues, professionally filmed and edited so you can bring together everything you have developed across the programme

Designed for Actors Ready to Go Further

This course is designed for performers with some previous acting experience who want to deepen their craft through a concentrated period of practical training.

It may suit:

  • actors who have completed beginner or improver-level training;
  • performers looking for a more immersive acting experience;
  • stage actors wanting to build confidence on camera;
  • screen actors wanting to strengthen voice, movement and text work;
  • performers preparing for auditions or further training;
  • actors returning to regular training after time away.

Four Weeks of Focused Development

Across four weeks, you will explore the practical foundations of compelling performance: how to approach text, build character, work truthfully with a scene partner and use your voice and body with greater freedom and control. Weekly on-camera training also helps you understand how to adapt those skills between stage and screen.

Four Weeks of Progressive Training

From Technique to Performance

Over four weeks, you will build your skills progressively through practical training, scene work and performance. Each week introduces a new focus while continuing to develop the techniques explored earlier in the course, giving you the time to experiment, apply feedback and grow in confidence.

Week 1 - Build Your Acting Foundations

Begin by reconnecting with the core skills that support truthful, confident performance. Through practical exercises, text work, voice and movement, you will explore presence, listening, impulse and character while being introduced to a range of practitioner-led approaches.

Week 2 - Deepen Character and Scene Work

Build on your foundations through more sustained work with scripts, scenes and character. You will explore objectives, relationships, subtext and emotional connection, learning how to make clearer choices and respond more truthfully to your scene partner.

Week 3 - Expand Across Stage and Screen

Develop greater versatility by adapting your performance to different mediums and professional demands. You will work on camera technique, voice, movement and specialist workshops, building confidence in how you adjust your performance for stage, screen and audition settings.

Week 4 - Rehearse, Refine and Perform

Bring your training together as you prepare contemporary scenes and monologues for the final live showcase. You will refine your choices, apply detailed feedback and strengthen your stage presence before performing for an audience in a professionally recorded presentation.
