Perfect the art of belting. Some of the biggest pop, rock and Musical Theatre stars rely on their signature belt, whether it is the big finale note at the end of Defying Gravity or Whitney Houston’s whole repertoire…belting is an important skill to master.

Learn how to belt without straining in a collaborative, safe environment with Estill Master Trainer Sarah Vaughan. During this workshop, you will explore the anatomy and physiology of belting to really understand why the body moves and sounds the way it does. With expert support you will learn how to use this impactful technique safely as you explore the different types of belting and styles it inhabits.

You will have the opportunity to bring a section of a song to explore and apply the technique behind the belt to your chosen song.

Weekly courses and one-day workshops
Cancel at least 72 hours before your course starts to receive a full refund, course credit or a free transfer to another available date. Cancellations made within 72 hours will receive course credit instead.

 

Intensive courses of five consecutive days or more
Cancel at least 7 days before your course starts to receive a full refund, course credit or a free transfer. Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice will usually receive course credit instead.

 

We are unable to offer refunds for missed classes or non-attendance.
