Our Music Production Courses - Level 2 are aimed at students who wish to build upon previous music production training and/or experience. Our Level 2 course will focus on 4 key areas of music production; mixing, synthesis, sound for moving image and recording.
Our classes are taught in an informal yet supportive environment where students learn through guided tasks, with one to one support from a tutor. You will have an opportunity to further your knowledge of Logic X and develop a range of music production techniques, from detailed mixing processes to creating arrangements for moving image.
WHAT WILL BE TAUGHT ON Music Production Courses - Level 2?
The course will cover a range of carefully selected material to ensure it is challenging, varied, and above all, enjoyable.
The 4 modules covered in this 8 week course will cover the following:
- Mixing - Guided mixing, effects processing, EQ and automation
- Synthesis - Creating an arrangement from entirely synthesised sounds
- Sound for Moving Image - learning about how to create sound palettes guided by a visual
- Recording - developing a solid foundation of stereo mic-ing techniques and recording instruments
All our music lessons are taught in a fun and supportive environment, and you will receive friendly feedback throughout the course.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND LEVEL OF THIS COURSE?
This course is suitable for those who have a basic knowledge of music production and experience of using Logic X.
Students must have completed a Music Production beginners course and/or have previous production experience and wish to further develop their skills.
HOW WILL I BE TAUGHT?
Each week will begin with informal guided sessions on a key music production topic before students move on to one-to-one opportunities. Here they can practice their skills with plenty of free time to experiment.
BY THE END OF THE COURSE, WHAT WILL I HAVE ACHIEVED?
Students will have:
- Gained confidence in their mixing ability and learned basic mastering techniques.
- Structured their own audiovisual arrangement using samplers and synthesisers.
- Developed a deeper understanding of recording techniques and processes.
- Delved further into synthesis and synthesised sound design.
