Storytelling - Taster Classes

There is a storyteller within each and every one of us, so try our Storytelling Taster Classes to explore the ways that story sharing can enrich our own lives.

Whether large crowds or intimate gatherings, we can help you develop your own personal style of storytelling.

This taster session will give you an idea of what to expect in our Storytelling course. The full course develops confidence in communicating directly with others, and encourages you to enjoy the process of creating or learning a story.

Storytelling Taster Classes Content

You will be introduced to storytelling techniques which will be covered on the longer course:

  • Developing performance skills and narrative structure
  • How to bring storytelling into personal, occupational and performance contexts
  • Confidence and clarity
  • Exploring the use of the voice and body

At this taster - our teacher will be on hand to answer any questions or queries you may have about storytelling or our courses.

No Venue

All City Academy tutors are experienced professionals from theatre, film/TV and performance industries. So whilst they're training you they may also be rehearsing for a West End show or working on a movie. We like that and we do believe it makes a difference in class.
