Amber Edwards

Amber is a professional actor with a working background in Musicals, Theatre, and Film. Born and raised in Glasgow, Amber graduated in 2017 with a BA Hons in Musical Theatre. She is very aware of the highs & lows, the commitment and grit it takes to meet the demands of a challenging industry.

She had the pleasure of working on brand-new musicals and turning films into their first-ever stage adaptations with The Tron and The National Theatre of Scotland. Her most recent credits include Tina: The Tina Turner Musical in the West End, Macbeth at the Royal Shakespeare Company and The Good John Proctor in The Jermyn Street Theatre. This summer she has been filming for an independent feature film.

Throughout her career, working with fantastic practitioners, Amber would like to give actors a tool kit to aid them in future projects and everyday life. Classes will cover deep exploration of text, improvisation, keeping choices vibrant, developing character, embracing the art of play, and most importantly: having fun and growing your confidence. Amber is passionate about the discipline of Drama and the Arts. She believes drama is for all and there is no such thing as too late.
