Subjects taught by Heather:
Acting

Heather has a BA Hons in Acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.

As part of her teaching experience, Heather has worked with inner city schools taking workshops and touring productions of Shakespeare works. She also runs spoken word and voice training workshops for young people.

As well as experience in acting and directing, Heather has worked extensively on writing projects for The Bush Theatre, The Arcola, Soho Theatre and Vault Festival 2018.

This year Heather released her comedy web series, Slipped Disco, which she wrote, directed and performed in.

Other voice work includes voicing the audio book, Jo Cox for, Jo Cox: More In Common, as well as Princess Diana for Channel 4’s documentary, Diana: In Her Own Words.

Heather describes her classes as lots of fun whilst always connecting to the overall learning objective, running tasks that leave space for sharing and discussion.

“I enjoy watching students discover parts of themselves they perhaps have never developed or accessed. It’s a joy when someone surprises themselves, particularly when having the courage and commitment to really ‘go for it'.”
