Sandro Franchini

Contemporary Dance

Sandro trained in Contemporary Dance at the Roman Ballet in Italy. He also trained in Commercial at Broadway Dance Centre in New York. Later he gained a Masters Degree in Dance at Liverpool John Moores University.

He has danced in various Opera Productions at the Royal Opera House, London as an ensemble and soloist. He also performed with Take That on their Progress Live Tour across the UK and Europe.

Sandro has taught Dance at various Universities including Institute of the Arts, Barcelona, Trinity Laban in London, and at the Liverpool John Moores University. He is passionate about teaching and aims to push the limits of each student. He encourages students to approach dance with focus, clarity, intention and lots of passion!

His diva classes focus on dancing in heels to build confidence with movement and style. Choreography focuses on the lines of the body and expressing sensuality in a sophisticated way.

Sandro’s contemporary classes are a mix of modern, jazz, ballet and street dance styles. He explores a wide range of angular movements and rhythms in his classes, teaching students musicality, moving organically, and discovering a natural connection with their body.
