Bio Matt Oldreive is a pianist, composer and experienced tutor with a strong academic and practical background in music. Holding an MA in Music and Grade 8 Piano, he teaches students of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners and returning players to more advanced pianists looking to develop their technique and expression. His teaching is flexible and student-led, combining classical training with popular repertoire, improvisation, music theory and technical development. As a performer and composer, Matt has written and recorded orchestral, electronic and piano music, and brings this creative experience into his lessons.
