Bio

Ross Leadbeater is an award-winning pianist, music director, entertainer and mentor whose career spans theatre, television, radio and luxury cruise ships. He first gained international recognition as a member of the vocal group Only Men Aloud, achieving worldwide record sales of more than 300,000 and performing alongside artists including Shirley Bassey, Bonnie Tyler and Josh Groban.

His solo work includes the EP Great British Songbook, with the track Piano For Sale reaching the top of the iTunes Classical Album Charts and receiving support from BBC Radio 2. Alongside his performance career, Ross regularly coaches singers, delivers performance and music-industry masterclasses, and works as an audition pianist in London’s West End.

Ross has taught and delivered masterclasses at institutions including Guildhall School of Music & Drama, ArtsEd and GSA. He is also the founder of Tryfan Music, an artist-development and management company supporting singers, songwriters and recording artists as they develop their careers.

His teaching style is energetic, encouraging and supportive, with a strong focus on building confidence, developing performance skills and helping students connect more deeply with the music.
