Building on the foundations of our beginners level, this Method Acting - Improvers course explores more challenging scenes, characters and texts, developing performances with greater emotional complexity. Through deeper sense-memory work, focus and observational techniques, you’ll learn how to connect more fully with complex material. By bringing elements of your lived experience to the work in a safe way you'll learn the tools needed to craft authentic performances that move audiences.

This method acting course is designed to help you work with courage, spontaneity and depth, giving you the tools to create characters that feel honest, grounded and alive. You'll work through exercises from theatre practitioners Konstantin Stanislavski, Lee Strasberg, and Uta Hagen to deepen and enrich your performance.

If you’re new to Method Acting, we recommend starting with Method Acting – Beginners. This supportive introductory course will help you understand the foundations of Method Acting, explore key exercises as you begin to develop more truthful, emotionally connected performances.

Cancel at least 72 hours before your course starts to receive a full refund, course credit or a free transfer to another available date. Cancellations made within 72 hours will receive course credit instead.

Cancel at least 7 days before your course starts to receive a full refund, course credit or a free transfer. Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice will usually receive course credit instead.
